Report a Concussion

Concussion managers and group leaders can report a concussion in CAPT by following the instructions below. The Report a Concussion workflow bypasses your organization's removal from sport protocol and instantly changes a participant's status to 'removed'.


When a participant is removed from sport, their circle of care is notified and a medical assessment is required. Concussion managers, group leaders, guardians, and participants can submit a medical assessment. To learn more about medical assessment, check out our Medical Assessment article.

  1. Select "Recognize a Concussion"


  1. Click "Remove From Activity: Suspected Concussion"

  1. Select the participant


  1. Click "Submit"
